To help get ready for the upcoming AT hike, Katie and Daddy took a quick 16 mile walk on the Pinhoti. It was quite the adventure, there were downed trees to crawl under and over, a hiking dog, a half a dozen folks we met on the trail and even a hobo with a pet cat! (No, not a bum, a hobo. He lived his life outside just hiking from one place to another. We even got to eat wild blue-berries. We saw some mushrooms that we thought MIGHT be edible, but we weren't sure so we left them. If anyone knows by looking at the pictures I'd love to hear from you. Anyway, it was a great hike and of course by the time we saw the back of the sign showing we were near the truck, we were ready to head to the sub shop and then a shower!
