I had a chance this weekend to help someone fulfill a life goal. Terri had always wanted to run the Peachtree and this year she did it! And it wasn't an easy path, she spent a good portion of the past 2 years in a boot (well she now owns 3 of them), the race got called on account of rain, and none of that stopped her! To say I'm proud of her would be an understatement. And after the race, we got to see about 2 dozen fireworks displays from the nice air conditioned room. And on top of everything, she did her fastest time ever for the distance! Who knows, if she does this again, I may have to join her, hopefully she starts WELL after me if I do so she doesn't get to the finish line too far ahead of me.
