This is Jerri Springer. She
is a 1990 Springer softail that has about 28k in this picture. She
entered the Family on 7/7/2006. She came to us with 28 thousand miles
on her, I have a feeling that will change soon enough. Katie helped
seal the deal and even managed to save us $500.00. The seller and I
had come to an impasse of about $500.00 (I offered all I had) and Katie
asked if we were going to take the motorcycle home. I reminded her
about the conversation on the way to see the bike that 2 things had
to be met. The first was that we had to like the bike. She quickly
jumped in and said that we did like the bike, didn't we? I agreed that
we did like the bike. Then I reminded her that we would have to agree
on the price and that I had told her before that we might not be able
to. I had offered all the money I had (even the extra $12 I had for
gas on the way home) but it didn't look like it was going to be enough.
She looked over at "Mr. Don" and asked if her daddy had enough
money for the motorcycle. He shot me a dirty look, and then looked
back at Katie and said "He has JUST" enough. The deal was
done.
