Katie is now a whopping 6 years old. It was quite a day for her. The first stop was at Build-a-Bear where she got to crate her new friend (Furry) and Jimmy made SpiderBear. Then it was off for the big event. Katie had worked hard for the past 3 months to show that she was grown up enough to get her ears pierced. So after traveling the mall we ended up at Claire's. They were a bit restrictive on the picture taking rules, so there isn't much, but you can tell how nervous Katie was before hand by noticing the best smile she could manage. But as soon as they were done, her normal smile came right back. Jimmy of course took it all in stride and was perfect during this whole time. After lunch Terri and the kids went to Libby Lou's to get Katie and Terri's hair and makeup done. All in all a pretty good 6th birthday.
