After dinner Sunday night, Katie wanted to play outside in the rain. She put on her rainboots and took out the umbrella. Soon she saw fireflies and decided to ditch the umbrella and catch a few. We got a jar and put some grass in, and went hunting. After catching a few, we released them to let their friends know how nice Katie was and caught a few more. One liked Katie so much that it stayed on her shoulder for a while. Perhaps next time Jimmy will stay awake a bit later and join in the fun.
