We left Minneapolis, MN and rode along the Mississippi River for a while, it was great. the scenery was beautiful. Then we hit Wisconsin. Man did it get cold. and rainy. Then Illinois, more cold, rain, and now there was construction and tolls. I really like when the stop the construction, you pay the toll, then they start the construction again. At least there was family at the end of the road to join us for dinner, give us a place to crash, and even let me stop the "weep" from my bike.
