Ms. Terri's birthday is in December and right around Christmas, and we decided that for our birthdays we would take each other on a trip. So for her birthday this year we headed down to Navarre, Florida for the weekend. For a cold December day we had a great time. We got to check out Fort Pickens, saw some weird white things (life guard stations, protecting a parking lot!), fly a kite on the beach, watch a beautiful sunset and even made some ornaments for our trees with real beach sand and a few shells we found (and some clear glass christmas decorations). We even saw the Grinch riding on top of a fire-truck! It may have been the company, but I seem to really like the beach in the off season.
