To encourage spring, we all decided to go camping at FDR State park. Going so early in the year we pretty much had our choice of camping spots. So after gathering some wood for the fire later that night, we all headed out for a hike. Later that evening we built a main fire and the kids started their own fire (in a fire ring, it's not like they were trying to burn down the forest!) We gorged on Pudgie pies and marshmallows, and finally crashed. In the morning after a nice pancake breakfast we broke camp and tried to find a new trial, but couldn't figure out where it was, so we explored the town of Warm Springs instead. Overall a great trip!
