With the tree up, it just wouldn't be right to leave the presents Grandma Sue and Papa brought under the tree for a WHOLE MONTH! So, in order to keep them safe from the present destroying dog, we decided to open them with Grandma Sue and Papa. Yes, it was a sacrifice, but that is just something you have to do sometimes.
