The Rubino Men made it from the 3 corners of the globe to Speedway Indiana to see the Greatest Spectacle in Racing, aka the 87th Indy 500.

We saw strange people, some nice bikes, a great company, took at stroll down Gasoline Alley (notice the pumps, methanol and racing fuel, and no price. Cool.), stopped by the museum. All of that was before the race.

Sunday everyone was serious, the blimp flew by, a Stealth Bomber made 2 fly overs, the balloons were released, and the race was on! There was a spectacular crash right in front of us the driver (Dan Wheldon, a rookie) slid on his head for a bit, then walked away. Amazing. After 500 miles, Gil de Ferran walked away with his first Indy 500 win.
